Paneer kathi Moong Daal Roll Recipe

 



Ingredients:

Paneer 200 GM - more preferable if it is home made from A2 Cow milk or store bought from a trusted source, 

carrot 2 medium sized, 

capsicum 3,

onion 2, 

tomato 2,

garlic 3 slices,

ginger small piece,

coriander,

garam masala 1.5 tsp,

Haldi powder 1/2 tsp,

chilli powder 1.5 tsp,

2 spicy green chillies,

Salt as per taste,

Moong Daal Batter,

Oil 1 tsp,

Hung curd 400 gms.

Green chutney.

Why this:

To satiate your hunger in a true sense by protein and veggies combo.

Process:

Seperate the water from curd by wrapping it in cotton cloth for atleast 30 mins to an hour,

Chop carrots, capsicum and 1 onion lenght wise and saute them on medium flame in 1 tsp oil till medium crunchy.

Grind tomato, onion, coriander, garlic, ginger, onion, chillies.

Make green moong daal dosas - keep them ready ( recipe separately attached).

Make small pieces of paneer.

In a seperate bowl add oil 1 tsp, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, tomato paste and mix well. To this address  Hung curd and paneer pieces.

In a pan add the paneer mixture and let it cook for sometime. Now to make this mixture smoky - keep this paneer in a bowl, take 2 small pieces of coal, heat them, and keep in a small steel vati, keep that vati in the panner bowl, add 1 tsp cow ghee on top of hot coal pieces and immediately close the lid. 

And here you go..it's smoky.

Now take one moong daal dosa, apply green chutney ( optional), add little paneer mixture, add sauted veggies. 

Roll this and cut finely to an eatable bite size portion.

And here you go..relish.
